His work spans music publishing, intellectual property, rights management, licensing, royalties, and long-term strategic planning across multiple genres and international markets.

Eric Spence is a veteran music publishing and entertainment executive with more than three decades of experience spanning recorded music, rights management, artist development, and global music publishing strategy. A Virginia Beach native, Spence has worked alongside legendary super producer Timbaland through Mosley Music Group, helping shape strategic ventures, publishing assets, and creative partnerships across the entertainment industry.

In 2013, Spence and Timbaland formed a joint venture with Anthem Entertainment to establish Bluestone-Anthem Entertainment LP, a music publishing enterprise focused on catalog development, rights management, and global publishing administration. Throughout his career, Spence has held senior leadership roles across both recorded music and music publishing, including serving as President of Mosley Music Group and Senior Vice President of Bluestone-Anthem Entertainment LP.

His work has supported songwriters, producers, artists, labels, publishers, and rights holders across genres including pop, country, hip-hop, gospel, rock, alternative, and global commercial music. With experience spanning synchronization licensing, creative partnerships, royalty oversight, rights management, and music asset monetization, Eric is known for bridging creative culture with disciplined business strategy.

Beyond the entertainment industry, Eric’s foundation is rooted in faith, family, mentorship, and service. A former collegiate student-athlete, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University and completed master’s level studies at Liberty University. His early work with justice system impacted youth and children with special needs continues to shape his commitment to leadership and community impact.

As Treasurer of Timbaland Way Cares, Eric helps steward the organization’s mission to empower communities through arts, culture, education, mentorship, innovative programming, and access to resources that create real opportunities for growth.
